Red Hot Reds Sweep Pirates With Dramatic 3-2 Win Thursday In Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Reds won their third straight game to open the 2015 season, when they rallied to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 on Thursday afternoon at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. The Reds swept the Bucs and are now 3-0 and in sole possession of first place in the NL Central in the early going.
The Reds will see if they can continue their hot streak when they host division rivals St. Louis tonight in Cincinnati.

Reds Win 11 Inning Marathon Wednesday 5-4 In Cincinnati
Reds Nip Pirates 5-4 in 11 innings Wednesday night at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. Joey Votto came through with a game winning RBI in the bottom of the 11th to ice the win. Todd Frazier homered for the second straight game for the Reds!
Reds are now in sole possession of first place in the NL Central Division.

Frazier Powers Reds Over Pirates 5-2 With Opening Day Blast
Reds' 3B Todd Frazier hits a three run blast in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Reds' a dramatic 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Opening Day, Monday, April 6 at Great American Ballpark. Frazier's blast picked up reliever Kevin Gregg who surrendered the lead in the top of the 8th. Johnny Cueto started for the Reds and pitched 7 shutout innings for the Reds (and saw his chance for a win fade when Gregg gave up a two run shot to Pirates' Andrew McCutchen.) Reliever Jumbo Diaz picked up the win for the Reds in relief. Reds' Jay Bruce also homered.
